«Aktion 008 Das Fundament» Kunsthaus Aussersihl Museum Bärengasse 29.5. - 18.6.2010 / Zurich

Der Verein Kunsthaus Aussersihl präsentierte die Idee zur Umnutzung des Amtshauses am Helvetiaplatz (Zürich) mit verschiedenen Diskussions-Veranstaltungen und einer Ausstellung der bisherigen Aktionen im Museum Bärengasse. Auf die Einladung hin, uns mit einer Kunstarbeit zu beteiligen, platzierten wir eine Sprechblase im Eingangsbereich. Die Sprechblase schwebt frei im Raum und ist wie ein Mobile an der Decke befestigt. Sie besteht aus 384 Würfelzuckern. Wo sonst Text hineingeschrieben wird bleibt unsere Sprechblase unbeschrieben und ist ganz mit Zucker, Würfel an Würfel ausgefüllt.


The association arthouse Aussersihl presented the idea of re-using the administrative building at Helvetiaplatz (Zurich) with different discussion events and an exhibition of previous and present actions at the museum Bärengasse. When invited to participate with a piece of art we installed a speech balloon in the entrance area. The speech balloon floats freely in the room and it is installed like a mobile at the ceiling. It consists of 384 pieces of lump sugar. Our speech balloon remains blank at places that are normally filled with text. The balloon is completely filled with sugar, one lump next to the other.
