Ursprünglich wollten wir Fotos von Reflektionen machen. Da unsere Digitalkameras aber eine zu grosse Verzögerung zwischen Auslösen und Fotoaufzeichnung hat, waren die Reflektionen meist wieder verschwunden, bevor sie als Bild in der Kamera aufgezeichnet waren. Deshalb filmten wir mit Video die Reflektionen und verwendeten Videostills daraus. Dabei entstand überzähliges, unbeabsichtigt aufgenommenes Filmmaterial von unserer “Jagd”. «Catching» Ist aus diesem Material zusammengestellt.


Originally we wanted to take photographs of reflections. However, as our digital camera has too long a delay between activation and recording the reflections had mostly disappeared before they could be recorded as an image in the camera. For this reason we filmed the reflections with our video camera and used video stills. This process accumulated surplus, unintentionally recorded film material from our chase. «Catching» is assembled from this material.
