«Black Birds» besteht aus einem Bild einer Live Webcam aus Mont Crosin, das über das Internet fortlaufend aktualisiert wird. Jede Minute wird ein neues, aktuelles Bild aus Mont Crosin übermittelt. Der Ausschnitt zeigt zwei zentrierte, in Richtung Wald gerichtete Plakatwände. Es lässt sich darüber rätseln was auf den Plakaten vermittelt wird und an wen sie sich richten. Durch Weglassen der Webseiteninformation in welcher das „Live-Bild“ aus Mont Crosin sonst eingebettet ist, entsteht eine Kontextverschiebung.
Die „Live-Bilder“ vermitteln durch ihre Aktualität das Gefühl unmittelbar das zu sehen was an diesem Ort geschieht. Wir überlagern diese Unmittelbarkeit mit verschiedenen Animationen, die den Bildraum für ihre Handlungen nützen. Einmal zieht ein rosa Wölkchen, einmal eine weisse Pixelwolke vorbei, die sich schwarz verfärbt. Ein Andermal landen für einen kurzen Zwischenhalt drei schwarze Raben auf den Plakaten. Wir verwenden Live-Bilder und Animation um eine digitale Collage herzustellen.


«Black Birds» consists of an image from a live webcam from Mont Corsin that is continuously updated via the web. Every minute a new image from Mont Crosin is transmitted. The image shows to centred poster walls that are directed towards a forest. As we leave out the remaining information on the website in which the live image from Mont Crosin is usually embedded the context itself changes.
Thanks to their actuality the live images convey the feeling that you can immediately see what happens at this specific location. We overlap this immediacy with different animations that use the space on the image for their actions. You can observe a pixel cloud that takes on a black colour, or in another animation, three black ravens land on the posters for a short period of time. We use live images and animations to fabric digital collages.
